Permanently remove your account and all associated data
How to delete your account
This page is operated by Qamar. To request permanent deletion of your account and data, follow these steps:
Sign in below with the same account you use in the Qamar app — your email and password, or Google.
Review the list of data that will be deleted and what is kept.
Tick the confirmation box and tap “Permanently delete my account”.
Your account and data are deleted immediately and permanently — no waiting period, no recovery.
You can also delete your account directly inside the app: Settings → Delete account.
What is deleted and what is kept
Deleted permanently
Your profile: name, @username, avatar photo, bio, country, email and sign-in identity
Reading & worship data: Quran progress, reading history, statistics, streaks, dhikr/zikr counters, qaza counts, and your “Remember” supplications
Social data: your follows, followers, and friend requests
Your shared-khatym memberships and participant records (your unfinished page ranges are released back to the group)
Your notifications and push-notification tokens
Your uploaded avatar files and your Firebase Authentication account
Kept / retention
Shared khatyms where you completed parts keep an anonymous completion record so other members’ group progress stays intact — no profile or personal identifiers are retained.
Crash/diagnostic logs (Firebase Crashlytics) that are not tied to your profile may persist in backups for up to 90 days before being overwritten.
Everything else is removed immediately. There is no additional retention period and the deletion cannot be undone.
